The TMF MaxIndia team did an amazing job organizing an event of this size in a far away part of the country. Volunteers were a key component of the success. I encourage Maxstations who need to organize patient events away from their stations to reach out to the MaxIndia team to exchange best practices.
Parallel to the FOM patient meeting, we had the first MaxStation two day workshop of 2008 with participation of the entire Asia Pacific team, and the added presence of Mike (yes, our IT Mike) who had the chance to visit with MaxStations and patients for the first time in his four years with TMF. This was a great opportunity to learn from each other and we all came out of the workshop energized and uplifted.
