Greetings from Seattle! I’m so delighted and honored to join The Max Foundation. This first week is truly flying by thanks to the warm welcome I’ve received in person and over email from so many of you – thank you!
A little about me and my background—I grew up here in the Pacific Northwest, and attended the University of Washington, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies and German language and literature, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and International Development. Since 2011, I have worked and volunteered in nonprofit fundraising, and have most recently supported a join Israeli-Palestinian NGO that does grassroots peace and reconciliation work. I’m most excited by work supporting mission driven organizations that improve health and quality of life outcomes for people living all over the world, and I have found an incredible fit here at The Max Foundation.
When I am not working, I am an avid reader, traveler, and foodie. I am at my very happiest when found far from home, passport and kindle in one hand, and a tasty snack or beverage in the other, enjoying the sights and sounds of a new city.
I’m looking forward to getting to know my colleagues near and far as we work together to help people around the world face cancer with dignity and hope. So excited to be part of The Max Foundation’s great leap forward!
